About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Lawyer to join our Litigation & Arbitration practice at a leading law firm in Lisbon. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and prestigious environment with complex highprofile disputes both domestic and international.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage litigation and arbitration cases from inception to resolution.
Represent clients before Portuguese courts and international arbitration tribunals.
Advise clients on dispute resolution strategy legal risks and complex legal issues.
Draft and review procedural documents legal opinions pleadings and contracts.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and trainees.
Requirements:
Law degree from a reputable university.
Minimum of 6 years of postqualification experience in litigation and arbitration.
Registered with the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados).
Strong knowledge of civil procedural law arbitration rules (ICC UNCITRAL etc. and crossborder dispute resolution.
Excellent analytical drafting and advocacy skills.
Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong organizational and client management skills.
