Job Description
We are looking for a creative Design and Technology Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Camden from September. This is a fulltime permanent position. The ideal Design and Technology Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology Teacher lessons covering various design and manufacturing processes.
- Prepare students for projects and assessments.
- Develop students design thinking and practical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of DT resources.
- Organise and lead design and technologyrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology.
- Proven experience teaching design and technology at secondary level.
- Strong technical and practical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
