Job Description
We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Haringey from September. This is a permanent fulltime position. The ideal English Teacher will inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a dedicated English Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
- Develop students analytical and creative writing skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead Englishrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
- Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
