Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to take on the role of Scrum Master. In this key position you will facilitate and coach our Agile teams ensuring that our projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. The Scrum Master will play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitation of Agile Processes
Guide and coach the Scrum team in Agile practices removing obstacles to team progress. Ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and processes.
Project Management and Delivery
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a clear and manageable project backlog. Oversee project progress from planning to and review ensuring key objectives are met on time.
Continuous Improvement and Team Development
Identify areas for improvement within the team and implement strategies to enhance performance. Foster a culture of transparency and continuous learning within the team.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
Liaise between the development team and stakeholders ensuring clear communication of project goals progress and obstacles. Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive engagement and alignment.
Risk Management and Problem Resolution
Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Facilitate problemsolving discussions and encourage innovative solutions to challenges.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background and Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) qualification is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master role with a background in software development or IT projects.
Agile Methodology Expertise
Deep understanding of Agile frameworks particularly Scrum and Kanban. Experience in implementing Agile practices in crossfunctional teams.
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills capable of engaging effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
Problem Solving and Decision Making
Proven ability to facilitate diverse teams in identifying and solving complex problems efficiently. Demonstrated experience in making datadriven decisions.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Agile project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello). Familiarity with software development processes and technologies is an advantage.
