Calling all students! Looking for a summer opportunity thats exciting impactful and a little different Join Home Made as a Finance Internin 2025!
Were looking for a detailoriented and motivated Finance Intern to join our team over the summer. This is an exciting opportunity to gain handson experience in a realworld finance environment particularly focused on bank reconciliations and rent payment tracking.
Salary:Annual base salary of23K(prorated)
Working hours:MondayThursday 9am5pm and Friday 10am6pm
Internship Length:812 weeks (between July and September)
Office location:London Southwark (This is a fulltime officebased role)

Sounds greatso what would the summer look like
Youll play a key role in helping our finance team monitor incoming rent payments match them against tenant records and assist in monthly reconciliations. Youll also be exposed to broader finance operations working alongside experienced professionals and getting a feel for how a finance department operates daytoday.
Heres a snapshot of what you might work on:
- Track rent payments received through our bank account
- Reconcile payments against the rent schedule and tenancy records
- Identify missing incorrect or duplicate payments
- Flag discrepancies and suggest corrective actions
- Support the finance team with general administration and reporting
- Gain exposure to accounting systems and tools
What were looking for
- We welcome applicationsfrom students pursuing a degree in Accounting Finance or Business with a graduation date of 2025 or those currently enrolled in these fields.
- Excel Skills: You dont need to be a pro but a solid understanding of basic formulas filters and sorting will help you hit the ground running.
- Accuracy is Key: If you have an eye for detail and a knack for crunching numbers youre in the right place.
- Curiosity and Team Spirit: Were excited to support eager learners who want to grow contribute and thrive in a closeknit collaborative team environment.
