Job Description
An Independent school in Brent requires a skilled Science Teacher with a Physics specialism starting September for a permanent fulltime position. You will deliver engaging science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 with a focus on Physics. We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum focusing on Physics.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and practical assessments.
- Develop students scientific understanding and practical skills especially in Physics.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of science resources.
- Potentially lead physicsrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science with a focus on Physics.
- Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
