Job Description
Travel CT Technologist Contract Position
- Location: Rochester NY 14626
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12 hour Days; 7a7p
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2304 $2592
- Employment Type: Travel Only!
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and imaging procedures according to established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining highquality imaging standards.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans and explain procedures to alleviate anxiety.
- Operate and adjust CT equipment to obtain highresolution images.
- Administer contrast media following NYS Injection Certification guidelines.
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations and adverse reactions to contrast.
- Experience: Prior CT Technologist experience required.
- Licensure & Certification:
- NYS License in Radiologic Technology (or NYS Permit with licensure obtained within six months).
- ARRTR Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) within six months of employment.
- NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Skills: Candidates must be proficient in performing procedures.
