Job Summary:
As the Venue Director you will be responsible for the seamless management of your designated venue. You will oversee the venue s profitability achieve sales and operations objectives and deliver toptier customer service to all stakeholders including hotel partners clients and team members. Your leadership will foster a culture of achievement support diversity encourage continuous improvement and show an unwavering commitment to strengthening and growing the venue partnership.
Essential Functions:
Lead the of every phase of events while upholding the highest standard of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Supervise the Operations team to ensure efficient floor operations including the timely setup and strike of equipment and other vital floor activities.
Manage the P&L to maintain profitability; effectively control expenses through resourceful management and costcontrol measures when needed.
Ensure the integrity of inventory guaranteeing quality functionality security and availability at all times.
Stay updated on industry trends tools and innovations ensuring the venue remains at the forefront of AV technology and services.
Cultivate strong lasting relationships with venue partners.
Represent the company as a valued partner at hotel meetings and client site visits.
Ensure timely processing of all payables billing and invoices strictly adhering to financial management SOPs.
Equip Sales Managers with the tools and support needed to maximize revenue and enhance capture rates at every stage of the sales process.
Lead train and develop your team in accordance with company SOPs ensuring elevated service standards employee growth and a resultsdriven culture.
Continuously update and improve technical and systems skills by effectively utilizing company computer systems.
Provide technical support during events when necessary.
Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and operating procedures.
Perform any other duties as required.
Education & Experience:
High School Graduate or equivalent
At least 7 years of managementlevel experience in the audiovisual and/or hospitality industry
Proven experience aligning team members with common goals
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and sustain longterm relationships with both internal teams and external partners
Strong technical aptitude
Good working knowledge of computer hardware and software
Ability to plan prioritize and execute efficiently
Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A collaborative team player who can also lead with professionalism
A polished professional appearance
