Senior Program Manager Engineering Construction

Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager Engineering and Construction to join our growing team. As Senior Program Manager Engineering and Construction you will report into our Director Engineering and Construction and will be responsible for various project management aspects associated with our fiber deployment including project scheduling all aspects of infrastructure services provider and vendor coordination development of engineering and construction guidelines for new fiber architecture project issue management and resolution vendor management and performance. The position will be a key part of the Engineering and Construction team that will collaboratively manage the Brightspeed fiber build and facility deployment specializing in MDU (MultiDwelling Units) application. This role requires strong business acumen the abilities to define and implement groundbreaking ideas to work within a fastmoving environment to rapidly deliver support and services that have a broad business impact and desire to have an industry wide impact.

As Senior Program Manager Engineering and Construction you will have the following responsibilities:

• Leading program management of development and monitoring of an engineering and construction build plan
• Directing local engineers in the review of mechanized engineering designs for potential redesign opportunities and needs
• Project management of engineering design changes
• Providing process support to the network team and infrastructure services contractors supporting front line of an extensive fiber deployment
• Project management of cross functional process changes to optimize fiber build efficiency
• Driving the company culture and strategies
• Creating strategies to achieve business goals such as increasing revenues optimizing expenses and developing a skilled motivated satisfied and diverse workforce
• Leading by example in creating an environment that encourages open communication sharing ideas and best practices and building strong crossfunctional relationships

Detailed Responsibilities of the position:

• Manage project lifecycle across all vendors and internal stakeholders
• MDU segment < 50 Prems
• Greenfield and Brownfield MDU fiber builds > 50 Prems
• Understand market agreement build requirements
• Material management

Qualifications :

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical work experience in fiber engineering and construction
• Prior industry experience in facility engineering and network deployments
• Prior industry experience in managing infrastructure service providers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to successfully interact with cross functional teams
• Process improvement and customercentric mindset
• Ability to motivate others and work under pressure
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to articulate via written and through oral communication.
• Established track record with OSP experience
• BOSS IQGEO and Sitetracker experience

• Masters Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications
• Telecom/Cable/Internet Service Provider industry experience
• PMP Project Management Certification
