We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh Speciality in our Energy & Renewables team in London. This is a hybrid role that has a heavy market officedbased focus.
The role: Upstream Placement Broker
As a key member of the team youll utilise information regarding market practices pricing and underwriting policies to match clients insurance needs with appropriate carrier coverage. Additionally youll coordinate with Advisors and Client Executives to evaluate and select the best insurance carrier coverage quotes for clients.
We will rely on you to:
- Utilise market practices pricing and underwriting policies to match clients insurance needs with appropriate carrier coverage.
- Coordinate with Client Advisors and Client Executives to evaluate and select the best insurance carrier coverage quotes for clients.
- Design and develop competitive and innovative insurance/reinsurance products to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Practice Leaders Carriers Clients Advisors and Sales Professionals to drive revenue growth.
What you need to have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a broking or underwriting background.
- Technical proficiency in insurance/reinsurance products and a nearcomplete understanding of coverage lines and markets.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risk reports and develop innovative solutions for complex client needs.
- Experience in upstream energy placement is preferred but not mandatory.
