About The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a passionate HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join their Cairns team on a fulltime permanent basis. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Managing job data through mobile app software for accurate reporting
- Practicing safe work habits and maintaining company tools and vehicles
- Communicating with clients to assess their heating cooling and refrigeration needs
- Working efficiently in a team to complete projects on time and to highquality standards
- Mentoring apprentices and providing handson training in HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Installing repairing and maintaining air conditioning refrigeration and ventilation systems
- Diagnosing faults and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration units
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Must have your own tools
- A valid Drivers Licence and ARCtick Licence
- A Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- The ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- A proactive approach to problemsolving and client interactions
- At least 6 months of experience as a HVAC/Refrigeration technician
