Job Description

JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager

LOCATION: Lagos State

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Onsite

SALARY BUDGET: 5 Million Per Annum (Not open for negotiation)

EXPERIENCE LENGTH: At least 5 years

SUMMARY

The Human Resources (HR) Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies policies and initiatives to support the bank s workforce. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage talent acquisition employee engagement performance management and regulatory compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement HR policies procedures and best practices.

Oversee the recruitment onboarding and retention of top talent.

Manage employee relations addressing grievances and ensuring a positive workplace culture.

Administer payroll compensation and benefits programs in line with company policies.

Ensure compliance with labor laws banking regulations and corporate governance policies.

Oversee performance management processes including appraisals and training programs.

Drive staff development initiatives including training mentorship and career growth programs.

Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality and data protection compliance.

Work closely with management to align HR strategies with the bank s objectives.



Requirements

  • Minimum of a first degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g. CIPM SHRM HRCI) will be an added advantage.
  • At least five 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably within a Microfinance Bank (MFB) or the finance industry.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws compliance requirements and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage recruitment performance management and employee relations.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of discretion professionalism and problemsolving ability.
  • Age limit: Not more than 45 years old.
