As a SCADA Support Engineer you will:
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for GE iFIX SCADA systems.
- Perform system shutdown and support activities as needed.
- Resolve incidents and troubleshoot issues related to iFIX SCADA.
- Coordinate with key users internal teams and external vendors for seamless issue resolution and upgrades.
- Carry out routine server patching license updates and configuration reviews.
- Support and monitor SCADA systems including OPC server configurations and Historian server exposure.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 6 8 years of handson experience in SCADA and PLC systems especially GE iFIX.
- Strong understanding of SCADA system architecture security and development.
- Experience in configuring IGS OPC servers user roles and security areas.
- Familiarity with iFIX version 6.5 and related troubleshooting methodologies.
- Working knowledge of GE Historian server and server patch management.
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable with working hours to support operational needs.
You should possess the ability to:
- Develop configure and troubleshoot SCADA/PLC systems efficiently.
- Manage incident resolution and perform root cause analysis independently.
