Job Description
In this role the Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide services on our inpatient rehabilitation unit. The OT will work closely with care teams to deliver highquality patient care.
Qualifications :

- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Member of the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists preferred
- Experience working with neurological conditions required
- Bobath/NDT training an asset
- AFIM training an asset
- Hemispheres stroke competency training an asset
- Cognitive/perceptual assessment and treatment skills
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cognitive assessments and cognitive remediation/compensatory strategies
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience working with patients in an acute inpatient setting
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience working with patients in a postacute setting
- Knowledge and experience in the use of outcome measures
- Must be flexible and demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with all team members
- Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational abilities with proven time management skills
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
Additional Information :
Hours: MondaySunday various rotating 7.5 hour shifts(hours subject to change based on operational requirements)
Salary: $40.011 to $56.425 per hour
