The Inventory Replenishment Manager is responsible for ensuring that all objectives and goals of the department are met and/or exceeded for the daytoday management of the department. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensuring proper levels of inventory by SKU for the purpose of maximizing fill rates shelflife availability and product freshness resulting in increased inventory turns through effective forecasting and reporting processes.
- Provide clear communication through supply chain in an effort to expedite accurate transmission of information and product.
- Maintain accurate data enabling effective decision making in regards to inventory control.
- Oversee and approve purchase order spending for merchandise products supervising PO Review process in order to prevent unnecessary purchases.
- Oversee development and implementation of distribution strategies ensuring appropriate seasonal inventory levels for all warehouse manufacturing and store locations.
- Work closely with crossfunctional leaders to optimize the integrated planning and process ensuring of itemlevel sales plans and appropriate in season/preseason purchase orders.
- Direct and support the Supply Management team through command of reporting tools helping to identify exceptions and opportunities with daily inventory tasks.
- Develop strategies and action plans to address opportunities collaborating with appropriate stakeholders to maintain acceptable inventory investment.
- Develop effective strategies and processes to scale and overcome complexities such as space capacity and production capacity.
- Oversee team development motivation and recognition all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and trust.
- Consistent and effective communication to lead the team including: oneonone coaching huddles metrics product knowledge corporate policies and procedures.
- Use superior analytics and data management skills to resolve complex challenges and identify opportunities.
- May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
Qualifications :
- Typically requires completion of a postsecondary education in Supply Chain Operations Engineering or Finance plus 3 to 5 years of supervisory or management experience in an office setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid knowledge of retail business practices with a passion for food retailing and superior quality standards.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and to interact with various stakeholders in the organization.
- Excellent judgement and analytical skills with strong decisionmaking abilities.
- Experience working with ERP and/or Inventory Replenishment systems.
- Experience working with various computer software programs (i.e Microsoft Suite).
- Clear and effective communication style both written and oral.
- Impeccable organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Skilled at working in a fastpaced environment while maintaining priorities and a high level of performance.
- Fluency in English and French shall be considered an asset
