Job Description
NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 San Diego internships provide students with real world experience and exposure to working in the television news industry. Internships at NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 are paid and do not require course credit.
Responsibilities:
As a Production Intern for our station you will
- Learn about industryspecific technologies used to create live newscasts.
- Shadow APC Operators during preproduction and of newscasts.
- Receive handson training with Automated Production Control technology.
Qualifications :
Basic Requirements:
- Must be familiar with Windows OS and PC environments.
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
- Must have basic knowledge of TV studio operations.

Eligibility Requirements:
- In pursuit of an associate bachelors or graduate degree at an accredited institution. Must be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
- Current class standing of junior or above
- The ability to work inperson at the San Diego station
Required OnSite: This position is 15 hours per week and required to be performed from an NBCUniversaldesignated worksite.
The pay rate for this position is $17.25 per hour.
