The Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations is a youth residential treatmentfacility which provides a safe and caring healing environment for adolescentsin need. Located on 51 acres ourwellness program provides a peaceful environment for treatment balanced intraditional cultural and spiritual values and practices. These values andpractices foster respect honesty generosity strong cultural identificationand hope for positive life changes. TheHealing Lodge treatment program integrates traditional spiritual and culturalvalues with chemical dependency and mental health counseling to create aholistic approach toward healing.Residents include both Native American and nonNative from all areas ofthe country.
About the Position
Maintains a clean and safeenvironment for patients staff and facility. Follows established guidelinesand specifications for the Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations
EssentialDuties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties responsibilities andactivities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Mustbe able to read write and understand English.
Works with the facilities department to maintainand repair the Healing Lodge buildings to include: landscaping vehicle maintenanceoutdoor recreational areas; plumbing; electrical; HVAC; door hardware; drywallrepair/painting; general carpentry; etc.
Immediately report departmental needs;safety issues/concerns to the facilities manager and in the work ordermanagement system.
Perform safety and other inspections of theweight room and equipment to ensure everything is always operating in goodcondition.
Utilizes Work Order Software for organizingcompleting and recording repairs and other work order requests
Relocate staff offices (or other spaces) and setup equipment such as computers monitors printers and phones works withother departments to ensure that everything has been properly cleaned anddisinfected for a professional looking work environment.
Professionally perform repairs to office spacesand community areas.
Assemble furniture
Run and/or pull date wire hook up switches TVcable and other infrastructure needs.
Assist onsite contractors when needed
Change light bulbs ballasts and other lightingneeds.
Use hand tools table saws chain saws planersdrills reciprocating saws hole saws etc. in a safe and prudent manner
Performs preventivemaintenance and repairs on all housekeeping equipment including scrubber electric buffers vacuums etc.
Operates a snow plow snow blowers tractors brush hogs lawn mowers eaters blowers highlift power washers and other owned and rentedequipment in a safe and responsible manner
Ability to do routine maintenance andminor repairs on the various tools and equipment used in the FacilityDepartment
Clean and maintain Healing Lodge vehicles workingwith various departments to ensure vehicles are safe operable and incompliance with GSA standards.
Conduct new employee driving tests for both GSAvehicles and golf carts.
Janitorial/housekeeping duties as required ie:spot cleaning deep cleaning sanitize living quarters common areas and otherdaily cleaning needs.
Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
Highschool diploma or equivalent (GED)
Must have2 to 5 years building maintenanceexperience to include: mechanical experience HVAC experience boilermaintenance etc.
GasMechanical or other related license/certification preferred
Physical Demands:
Lifting carrying pushing pulling 2540 lbs frequently up to 75 lbs occasionally
Bending stooping crouching kneeling frequently
Reaching extending hands and arms in any direction
Standing or climbing on stool or ladder occasionally
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new skills andunderstand both verbaland written instructions and underlying principles
Mustbe a team player who works well with others is a selfstarter who can work with limited supervision and be flexible
Strong computer skills; Office 365; Energy Management Systems; Workorder software; etc
Time management skills are criticalto this position. Ability to prioritize tasks.
Mustbe sensitive to Native American Cultureand Spirituality
Musthavecurrent drivers licensewith good driving record
