Job Description

Epworth Rehabilitation is seeking Enrolled nurses with acute or rehabilitation experience to work Full time or Part time at our Camberwell site. Working within a multidisciplinary team environment you will join a patientcentred team caring for patients who are recovering from surgery or illness or needing support to maximise their independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a team motivated to assist patients in returning to their daily lives. Rehabilitation helps patients recover from an illness injury or surgical procedure manage a chronic illness or prevent further injury. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a team motivated to assist patients in returning to their daily lives.

You will make an impact by:

  • Being a key part of a team committed to delivering an exceptional patient family and staff experience while achieving highquality clinical outcomes
  • Assisting patients to access supported services to maximise their physical gains and return to a rewarding lifestyle
  • Working with multidisciplinary and specialised teams to plan the care and treatment for patients through regular case conferences
  • Maintaining and promoting patient safety within our satellite unit through early intervention and escalation of care

To be successful in this role:

  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Contemporary knowledge of best practice in acute aged or rehabilitation nursing
  • Experienced registered or enrolled nurse who is passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes either from a rehab or acute setting.
  • Strong collaborator with team members to support the delivery of rehabilitation care
  • Confident communicator you have a supportive engaging and compassionate style that enables you to easily build rapport with staff patients and their families
