Job Description
ATTENTION: This position requires graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing) and a state license as a Physical Therapist.
Now Hiring: Physical Therapist FullTime Outpatient Orthopedics Bone & Joint Wausau WI 54401
Position Overview:
Bone & Joint is expanding and currently hiring multiple fulltime Physical Therapists to join our Outpatient Orthopedics team in Wausau WI. We offer a collaborative and supportive environment focused on patientcentered care where therapists work directly with patients throughout their entire treatment.
Position Highlights:
- Location: Bone & Joint 225000 Hummingbird Rd #100 Wausau WI 54401
- Schedule: Fulltime position MondayFriday with variable hours between 7am6pm. Enjoy worklife balance with no weekends or holidays.
- SignOn Bonus: A $10000 signon bonus is available for fulltime hires.
Caseload & Patient Population:
- Focus: Outpatient Orthopedics with a caseload that includes 50 postoperative patients and a mix of general orthopedic cases across all age groups.
- OneonOne Care: Physical Therapists work oneonone with patients throughout their treatmentno aides or patient doubling.
- Collaboration: PTs work closely with physicians nurse practitioners and physician assistants to ensure the best care for patients.
Patient Scheduling:
- Sessions: Physical Therapists see approximately 53 patients per week with 45minute treatment sessions (including evaluations).
- Daily Load: On average PTs work with 910 patients per day due to occasional cancellations.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent.
- Licensure: Must be eligible for Wisconsin state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Availability: Fulltime availability is preferred though candidates with at least 32 hours per week will be considered.
- Experience: Prior experience is not required; new graduate PTs are welcome to apply.
