As a Delivery Solutions Architect youre the trusted advisor the goto expert guiding our toptier clients through the pivotal productionisation phase.
Our sales and presales teams lay the groundwork and youll take the lead driving the productionisation of crucial Use Cases. Youll be a key player in the account team shaping delivery strategies and influencing technical and commercial decisions. By working seamlessly with our crossfunctional experts youll identify and eliminate obstacles ensuring our customers achieve rapid and impactful results with Databricks.
Youll be the catalyst that unlocks the full potential of Databricks transforming customers data into actionable insights. Youll drive innovation contribute to their strategic initiatives and build strong relationships with everyone from technical teams to Csuite. Every day youll be making a tangible impact on the success of our customers and youll be their strongest advocate within Databricks.
Join our Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) team in Madrid!
The impact you will have:
- Develop and execute delivery plans: Create and manage detailed delivery plans ensuring alignment with customer goals and Databricks capabilities. Actively contribute to internal account reviews.
- Own posttechnical win phase: Operate as an expert in Data Analytics and AI being the accountable technical architect assigned to committed use cases creating certainty from uncertainty.
- Drive acceleration: Derisk implementations by driving platform onboarding bringing in technical enablement removing technical blockers and guiding on architectural best practices leading to successful golives and healthy consumption of the workloads.
- Strategic resource engagement: Optimize delivery by engaging the right Databricks resources and expertise to swiftly address and resolve delivery roadblocks.
- Leverage your influential authority: Use your leadership and expertise to drive agile delivery guiding customers partners and internal teams towards streamlined processes.
- Champion customer needs: Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for New Product Innovations Private Previews and Upgrade needs.
- Share and collaborate: Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring training and creating reusable artefacts.
What we look for:
- 7 years of experience leading technical Data/AI projects/programs in a customerfacing capacity (postsales presales etc..
- Technical program or project management skillset including account stakeholder and resource management accountability.
- Experience with complex Data architecture Analytics and AI solutions in the Cloud (AWS Azure and/or Google).
- Familiarity with a programming language (i.e. one of Python SQL Scala Spark).
- Experience handling complex escalations with senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver clear concise and compelling presentations to diverse audiences including technical and executive stakeholders.
- Experience conducting openended discovery workshops creating strategic roadmaps and conducting business analysis
Notes on mandatory requirements:
- Located in Madrid (within a commutable distance to the Databricks office to work on a hybrid schedule)
- Business proficiency in Spanish and English
- Available to travel up to 30 of the time.
