Job Description


Summary

Screen code and key claims in claims system. Review claims for services.


Description

Logistics:

This is a fulltime position 40 HPW) and will require our ideal candidate work onsite at the location in Columbia SC.

What You Will Do:

  • Screen code and key claims to ensure proper and accurate adjudication with departmental standards for quality and production contract regulations policies and guidelines.
  • Correct keying errors as noted by system edits.
  • Assist entrylevel claims clerks on correct coding and keying procedures.

To Qualify for This Position You Will Need:

  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Required Work Experience: 2 years of experience in a claims operations environment to include data entry experience.
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong keyboarding skills. Detailoriented. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of medical and/or dental coding.
  • Required Software and Other Tools: Standard office equipment.
