Job Description

The Yale School of Medicine Section of Geriatrics Department of Internal Medicine invites applications for a fulltime faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to expand and strengthen the research portfolio within Geriatrics.

The ideal candidate will have a unique skill set that merges expert knowledge in the field of geriatrics the ability to secure grant funding and implement strategic collaboration efforts with other likeminded investigators. Additionally the individual will be responsible for attending on the Cooney Service where they will showcase their teaching skills.

The selected candidate will have a passion for the field and will pursue research related to many aspects of the older patient population inclusive of identifying areas of vulnerability to the impacts of climate change thereby improving their health and resilience in changing environments.



The candidate must have training in any area of clinical investigation as well as evidence of excellent potential for an outstanding career in Geriatric clinical investigation. Geriatric clinical fellowship training is preferred but not required.
