Job Description

Shift/Hours: 2nd Shift Monday Friday 2:30pm 10:30pm

Determines quality and reliability standards by using gauges and optical instruments; verifying that specifications meet standards. Identifies inprocess product condition by collecting samples during the production process; conducting inprocess inspections and physical tests.

  • Determines disposition of finished product by collecting; classifying analyzing and interpreting production and quality data; judging product acceptability in comparison to specifications. Documents status by reordering and summarizing inspection and physical test data updating quality assurance database.

  • Calibratesinstruments; making regular inspections of equipment; verifying press settings at prescribed intervals.Performsminor repairs and regular maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

Education and Experience: HS/GED. 1 yearprocess control/quality controlexperience.

Prior printing environment experience. Ability to adjust equipment/machinery to obtain maximum output.
