Medication Technician $16.00/Hour $4.00/ Hour Weekender rate
Associates working hours from 3pm7:00am will also recieve and additional $0.75/Hour Shift differential.
Chandler Estates Personal Care Weekender Program Agreement The terms of participation are as follows:
1. Associate must work a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 32 hours over the course of a weekend. For purposes of this Program eligibility to receive the premium begins at 02:00pm on Friday and ends at 7:00am Monday. NOTE: The hours must be worked in increments of 8 hours and the total weekend hours worked must equal or exceed 24. Weekend hours worked between 24 32 hours will be paid at the premium rate. If less than 24 hours are worked the weekender premium will not be paid for any hours worked in that weekend and the associates base rate plus a regular weekend differential will apply.
2. For the 24 32hour period worked the associate will be paid a premium amount equal to base rate applicable shift differential plus an additional $4.00 per hour which may be changed with advanced notice for each hour worked in a single weekend up to 32 hours. Associate must work at least 24 hours in a single weekend to satisfy their commitment under this program. The hours cannot be combined with hours worked during the week or from a previous or subsequent weekend to qualify for the premium pay.
3. Associate may have up to 3 nonconsecutive scheduled or unscheduled weekends off per sixmonth period. If an associate exceeds the allowed time off the associate will be removed from the program and no weekender program premiums will be paid. The associates base hourly wage plus any applicable shift differentials will be applied.
4. Continued eligibility to participate in the program will be monitored by the Director of Wellness or Executive Director or designee. Associates will be notified in writing if they fail to meet the requirements to be eligible to participate in the program.
5. If a holiday falls within the weekend the associate is required to work the holiday and will be paid the weekender premium in addition to time and a half for holiday hours worked. Weekenders are required to work all holidays in accordance with Asbury policy that occur on a weekend unless they receive written approval by the Director of Wellness or Executive Director for time off. At minimum associates in this program must work one summer and one winter holiday.
6. The associate is not eligible for any other incentive programs except worked holiday pay and overtime (hours greater than 40 hours worked in a week).
7. Associate must apply and be accepted for a weekender program position. Approval must be granted by the Director of Wellness or Executive Director in writing once an application has been submitted and reviewed. A list of associates approved to participate in the program will be maintained by the Director of Wellness or Executive Director or designee and a copy of the signed agreement will be placed in the associates UKG personnel file.
8. Participation in this program requires the associate to initiate a request to their manager by submitting an application via Asburys Career Site. In turn the request will be considered by Director of Wellness or Executive Director and decision made based on business need. Associates will be eligible to participate in the weekender program for a period of six months. At the end of the eligibility period the associate must request a renewal of participation. All associates will be required to sign an agreement acknowledging Weekender program participation guidelines with each initial and renewal period. The program may be terminated at any time with 30 days notice to associates.
