The Opportunity

CPP are winning major projects in the renewable energy and utilities sector. To assist with our companies growth we require a Principal Structural Design Engineer toprovide technical expertise for the development of infrastructure for substations. You will work closely with other engineers designers and clients across a range of crucial projects where you will contribute to the successful delivery of structural design requirements of substations transport and civil structures steel/concrete buildings and transmission infrastructure.

As a key member of the engineering team you will enjoy mentoring and supporting a team of structural engineers including graduates.

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar Principal Structural Engineerposition within renewables or utilities
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of Australian guidelines and standards
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and mentor graduates and engineers
• Proficient in SPACE GASS PLSCADD/PLS POLE and other structural tools
• Demonstrated recent experience working within utilities or renewable energy design projects
