Our client a leading production and media companies in Sandton specialising in TV production radio production video production branded content media buying and lead generation services is looking for an Account Manager who has experience dealing with public / government sector clients to join their team

Duties & Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Detail the essential qualifications and skills needed to succeed in the role such as:
  • Degree or equivalent practical experience may be required
  • Experience with government tenders / RFQs
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar sales / customer service role within the advertising and marketing sector
  • Ability to communicate present and influence effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in delivering clientfocused solutions based on customer needs
Responsibilities:
Account Manager:
  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
  • Briefing production manager/s and providing deadlines in order to get quote / creative
  • Build and maintain strong longlasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients key accounts customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Liaison with clients and crossfunctional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of their solutions according to brief / customer needs and objectives
  • Ensure approvals in writing are received from client before any job commences
Tender Bid Assistant:
  • Assist with tenders / RFQs where needed in all matters
