Moderna is expanding its footprint in Clayton Australia home to one of our key production facilities. As we continue to develop our presence in this important hub for biotechnology in Australia we invite talented professionals to join us. This site plays a critical role in supporting Modernas mission to deliver innovative mRNA medicines that have a profound impact on global health.
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Lead the Warehouse Specialist will play a critical role in supporting Modernas manufacturing operations in Clayton Australia. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining production materials to ensure compliance while also supporting manufacturing teams with the timely movement of materials within the facility. Additionally you will be tasked with preparing drug product deliveries to 3PLs. This is a dynamic handson role that requires attention to detail and commitment to compliance ensuring that Modernas warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently to support its groundbreaking work in mRNA technology.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Processing inbound deliveries via SAP and in accordance with internal procedures.
Completing picking and verification of materials to support all manufacturing groups.
Managing inventory returns from manufacturing and updating SAP systems.
Performing daily cycle counts and segregating expired materials.
Ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines throughout warehouse processes.
Labeling materials and adhering to internal procedures for warehouse operations.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Transporting materials and products managing transfers to and from storage areas.
Operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move materials safely.
Handling SAP transactions and maintaining accurate records.
Practicing and promoting safe work habits within all activities.

Heres what youll need:
High School diploma or equivalent BS/BA Degree preferred.
2 years of experience in Warehouse Operations and Shipping in a highly regulated industry Pharmaceutical or related field.
Forklift License is essential
Experience working with SAP
This position is sitebased requiring you to be at Modernas site fulltime. This position is not eligible for remote work

Experience in a highly regulated industry Pharmaceutical or related field.
Ability to lift and move products and occasionally work in a 40C environment
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (SAP Smartsheet Microsoft Word and Excel).
Ability to work overtime when required.
