Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
On behalf of our client we are looking for an Oracle Database Developer who will be responsible for architecting designing and modeling schemas data and analytics for Oracle databases in multitiered environments.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal business resources and technical teams/SMEs to understand data sources
Research and evaluate information sources to determine possible limitations in reliability or usability
Translating business functions into conceptual logical and physical data models.
Define data standards policies and governance strategies for the enterprise
Determine data management lifecycle requirements such as data archival retention and retirement
Develop analytical reports in tools such as Tableau and other analytical/. Visualization solutions
Proficient with Data modeling tools such as Erwin
Experience delivering Appian Oracle and AWS RDS that comply with federal standards for security 508 records management and DevSecOps
Requirements
Requirements:
Masters Degree in Computer Science or other related disciplines
5 years experience integrating data from disparate sources
3 years experience in Appian
5 years Data Warehouse experience. Candidate must have experience with designing Data Warehouse schemas
Agile/ SAFe and other related developer certifications and/ or demonstrate equivalent experience
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate the ability to work under high pressure in a complex multithreaded environment
Demonstrated capability to learn rapidly utilizing good problemsolving skills
Desire to learn and document new tools
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Prior experience architecting databases and warehouses for Appian BPMS solutions is a plus
