Job Description
Position Title: 057021 Electrician Apprentice I
Job Location: Gaston SC

What You Will Be Doing
- Install and maintain heavy industrial equipment including 480 volts motor controllers switchgear motors motor starters control circuits and PLCs.
- Work integrally with customers and helps to market and develop new work.
- Use hand tools power tools electrical and electronic test equipment pipe thread equipment conduit benders etc.
- Will use arms and hands to signal grab hold turn push pull: objects materials controls and tools
- Pull wire and run conduit as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Must have 24 years working as an Electrical Helper/Apprentice/Journeyman
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timeliness of job completion.
- Experience in installing and maintaining heavy industrial equipment including 480 volts motor controllers switchgear motors motor starters control circuits and PLCs.
- Experience using hand tools power tools electrical and electronic test equipment pipe thread equipment conduit benders etc.
- Familiar with electrical field concepts practices and procedures.

Conditions of Employment:
- Successful candidate must submit to postoffer preemployment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment:
Role operations primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
