Job Description
Location: Cape Town
Industry: Food Manufacturing
RPO Recruitments client in the food manufacturing industry are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and a proven track record of leading a team to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daytoday operations of the production floor ensuring that production targets are met on time and within budget
- Coordinate with other departments such as quality control maintenance and logistics to ensure smooth production processes
- Train develop and mentor production staff to ensure they are performing at their highest potential
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Bachelors degree in food science engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a production supervisor role in the food manufacturing industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
