Missisquoi Valley Union is in search of a High School Math Teacher beginning in theschool year. This position will work collaboratively within the math department and a math data team. The ideal candidate will have strong instructional skills experience in Common Core aligned math education and they must be able to support a wide range of students at various levels. They will be able to differentiate math instruction promote productive mathematical talk interpret and respond to data and demonstrate flexibility and versatility in order to adapt and adjust in rapidly changing situations.This position offers opportunities for curriculum design and pedagogical support from a data team partner and an instructional coach. MVU provides educational services for approximately 800 students grades 712 coming from Franklin Highgate and Swanton schools as well as students from neighboring towns offering school choice. The chosen candidate will join a dynamic dedicated staff that is continuously moving on a journey towards instructional excellence.
