Are you passionate about animal care and looking to make a difference in a supportive teamoriented environment Mission Valley Pet Clinic is seeking a dependable compassionate Kennel Technician to join our dedicated team!
About Us: Mission Valley Pet Clinic has proudly served the Allied Gardens community for over 30 years. We are a trusted longstanding small animal general practice focused on providing highquality care and building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets.
Position Summary: As a Kennel Technician youll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort cleanliness and safety of our patients during their stay with us. This is a handson position ideal for someone who loves animals takes pride in their work and thrives in a busy teamfocused environment.
Responsibilities include:
Feeding and monitoring the wellbeing of pets in our care
Maintaining a clean sanitary and organized kennel and hospital environment
Bathing pets and assisting with basic grooming as needed
Assisting veterinary staff with patient handling and restraint
Monitoring for signs of illness or stress and reporting to medical staff
Providing compassionate gentle handling to all animals
Qualifications:
Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
Reliable punctual and detailoriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift
Weekends and Holidays are a must.
