Role: IT Asset Management Specialist
Job Location: Bangalore ITPB Whitefield
Required Experience: 4 Years
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented IT Asset Management Specialist to join our IT team. In this role you will support the management of the organizations IT assets ensuring accurate tracking compliance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the inventory management of IT assets including hardware software and licenses.
Maintain and update asset records in the asset management system.
Support the procurement process by tracking asset requests and ensuring timely delivery.
Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with IT teams to assist in the deployment and disposal of IT assets.
Help create and maintain documentation related to asset management processes and procedures.
Generate reports on asset utilization compliance and lifecycle status.
Provide support for assetrelated inquiries from internal teams and stakeholders.
Stay updated on best practices in IT asset management and industry trends.
Understand software asset management principles.
Provide excellent customer service for incoming software requests
Lead software renewal efforts and identify license reharvesting opportunities.
Proactively review license availability and consumption status of software licensing pools and perform reconciliation analysis of IT software contracts.

Technical Experience:
Conceptional knowledge of Information Technology.
IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools experience (specific experience with Jira Service Management and Tanium a plus).
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in information technology Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of IT asset management principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with asset management software or databases is a plus.
