Who are we looking for

Were looking for a Commissioning Engineer with experience in Control Systems to join our Delivery Phase Services (DPS) team in Perth Australia.

The role is responsible for the precommissioning planning inspections coordination of systematic testing and support of vendors undertaking commissioning performance tests of control systems and handover to the client of documentation.

This role is a drivein driveout (DIDO) role working on a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Collie doing either an 8:6 or 2:1 roster. This role will be required until the end of the year with the possibility of moving onto other projects. Ideally you will be based in Western Australia.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Supporting the Systems Integration Manager for communication to integrate multiple vendors like Power Electronics (PE) Battery Management (CATL) & Partum (SCADA Systems) who are directly contracted by Synergy and BESS Areas related to Switchroom C & D
• Supporting the Systems Integration Manager to Integrate multiple vendor systems like Master FIP (Chubb / Freo fire) Emergency Diesel Generators HVAC etc who are contracted and managed by SCEE. For Switchroom C & D and 330kv Control room
• Supporting the 330kv control system commissioning and Integration with Control system in Switchroom C & D Western Power AEMO & Synergy Ignition systems.
• Responsible for inspection of the Installation and powerup of the BPC cabinets in switch room C & D
• Responsible for inspection and supporting the coordination for the Integration of the Electrical Switchgear with Control system working along with Electrical Commissioning Leads
• Input to progress reporting on Weekly / Fortnightly / Monthly basis
• Support the interface with the Package Manager for PE CATL and Partum to raise any design changes issues related to Engineering development reliability Documentation & Drawings followup (SAT ITP ITR) etc
• Responsible for driving the Punchlist to closure for PE CATL & Partum commissioning related issues
• Working as a team of site based control system / SCADA engineers assigned on site for Commissioning
• Support project coordination reporting and other safety related admin duties as required
• Interfacing with the Permit office for the ATW sign off raised by Vendors
• Attending prestart meetings with all the vendors for daily activities and progress
• Monitoring the Redline and Blue line markups of the drawings interfacing with SCEE & other Commissioning Leads.
