About University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB
(This is not a state position)
University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB (UEC) supports the universitys educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. Were responsible for business enterprises on campus including but not limited to dining bookstore convenience store and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal state and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary
Temporary Part Time Non Benefitted position through 8/31/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary:$16.50$21.00 per hour. Depending on education and experience.
Location: Off campus. School sites in the cities of Colton Rialto and San Bernardino.
Work Schedule
19 hours per week. Typically MonFri 13:30PM but flexible with class schedules. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Typical Activities
Under minimal supervision of the Educational Talent Search Program Director theEducational Pathway Mentor will work independently to:
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- Applicants must possess a college degree or be currently enrolled in an Intuition of Higher Education; making satisfactory progress towards earning a postsecondary degree.
- Experience:
- Tutors must have previous experience with tutoring middle or high school students OR demonstrate an aptitude willingness and ability to learn such skills.
- Other:
- Tutors MUST have an overall GPA of 3.0 in the subject matter in which they will tutor.
- Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to various school sites in the SBCUSD RUSD or CJUSD areas.
- Evenings and some weekends required.
- Background check and Live Scan required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual candidates are preferred.
