Job Description

Security Superviors are front line leaders responsible for supervising Security Officers within the department creating/maining training and development plans ensuring each officer completes training and are up to date on all required certifications Caoching/ motivating team members to perform at a high level and overseeing daily operations in the departments efforts to deter detect prevent respond and document concerns or incidents that risk the safety and wellbeing of patients families visitors workforce members and property by utilizing appropriate protocols emergency response procedures and/or nonviolent crisis intervention methods. Security Supervisors lead and oversee the departments response to situations that include but are not limited to fire emergencies hazardous spills disaster response medical emergencies safety support missing child active shooter threats individuals under distress or escalated unauthorized persons on Seattle Childrens property or buildings occupied by Seattle Childrens workforce members with intentions to commit crimes such as vandalism theft and .

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice or related field or 5 years of experience in Security Services or related field including 2 years of leadership experience.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationCurrent CPI NonViolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Certification (Annual Requirement)Current Safety Cares Certification if required at location (Annual Requirement)Current Completion of NCI Autism TrainingCurrent Completion of Seattle Childrens Safe Firearms TrainingCompletion of Car Seat Safety TrainingCertificate of Completion for ICS100 FEMA Emergency Management Institute Introduction to the Incident Command SystemCertificate of Completion for IS37.23 Managerial Safety and Health FEMA Emergency Management InstituteScore of 80 or above on Seattle Childrens Security Supervisor Competency Exam.

Preferred
5 years of service as a Security Officer at Seattle ChildrensValid Washington State Drivers License with a driving record acceptable to Risk ManagementCompletion of Wheelchair vehicle Training

Compensation Range

$71578.00 $107366.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on fulltime employment 2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
