We are recruiting for a Production Manager based onsite in our Glenrothes facility in a working environment where everyone can grow and contribute as part of a successful inclusive high performing culture.
The Production Manager will be a key leading figure within a customerfocussed crossfunctional team and will be responsible for the manufacture of a range of electronic and electromechanical products managing a team of Production Supervisors Associates and Engineers. Driving excellent teamwork and flawless in delivery quality safety and cost.
Main Duties:
- Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Manufacturing function
- Control of touch labour Hours Per Unit and other manufacturing budgets
- Development and of production plans to achieve customer ontime delivery
- Management of high mix and frequently changing priorities using Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Employee Performance Development
- Ownership of all safety procedures
- Driver of process and quality improvements utilising RTX CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence)
- Based onsite in the Glenrothes facility the Production Manager is expected to attend and support at both Glenrothes and Livingston sites depending on product requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
- Experience in a Production Management Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related role
- Qualified to Degree or Diploma level in a Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related discipline
Desirable:
- Experience in an Electronics / Electromechanical manufacturing environment
- Experience in management of budget versus bid
- Highly effective people management skills
- Highly effective organisational and communication skills
- A highly effective disciplined approach in the work environment
- Experience in using SAP / shopfloor control systems
- Experience in EVMS (Earned Value Management System)
