Were on the lookout for an innovative collaborative and experienced Technical Director to join our team.
Youll have the chance to work on largescale and complex projects delivering exceptional civil engineering solutions that go beyond the ordinary. Were searching for proactive teamoriented individuals with a strong technical foundation that can be applied across a variety of sectors and projects.
Our Civil Infrastructure Team specialises in planning designing and building civil infrastructure for a diverse range of clients tackling challenging brownfield environments. This includes working on cityshaping major projects often as the lead consultant but also as part of a multidisciplinary project team. Our work spans all of GHDs market sectors allowing us to deliver a wide array of services in cities urban renewal projects and major developments.
Working with the Civil Infrastructure Business Group Leader and Team Leaders this diverse position will see you involved in:
- Leading and inspiring multidisciplinary technical teams on a wide range of projects ensuring topnotch technical outcomes while managing budgets and resources.
- Delivering impactful civil infrastructure projects from initial feasibility studies right through to successful construction.
- Integrating cuttingedge engineering solutions to meet the unique requirements of our civil infrastructure clients.
- Preparing and administering contracts with precision and expertise.
- Identifying exciting prospects and preparing winning bids that set us apart.
- Mentoring and developing junior team members fostering the next generation of talent.
- Building strong trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders that drive success.
- Proactively identifying and managing project risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
What will you bring to the team
- A Civil Engineering qualification paired with extensive industry experience and a proven track record in professional services.
- Building Industry Endorsement (BLA) and ideally accreditation with Melbourne Retail Water Agency (MRWA).
- Indepth understanding of the civil engineering industry in Victoria along with valuable connections with clients and authorities.
- Sharp commercial acumen outstanding influencing skills and the ability to think critically.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for building trustbased valueadding relationships across all levels of business.
- Leadership that is accountable approachable collaborative and supportive ensuring project teams thrive.
- A commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion and a strong advocate for equity.
- For the right candidate we are open to considering a parttime appointment (minimum of 0.8 FTE).
