Job Description
Responsibilities
Noblis ESI is seeking an experienced results oriented Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda Maryland area. You will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our clients IT enterprise architecture ensuring alignment with the clients vision of driving interoperability across organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop an IT enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities dependencies and mission critical impacts and risks.
- Enterprise Architecture Baseline discover and capture the asis state of the clients IT enterprise as it exists across multiple organizations throughout the enterprise.
- Enterprise Architecture Future State work in alignment with the clients vision to capture the to be state of the clients IT enterprise.
- Enterprise Architecture Transition Plan create the guidance and architecture artifacts to incrementally transition the clients enterprise architecture from the asis state to the future state.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including content providers content consumers developers engineers and business analysts.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with counterintelligence polygraph.
- The candidate must have a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or related field and 8 years of relevant experience OR Masters degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science Information Technology with 6 years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect Systems Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. UAF TOGAF Zachman DoDAF).
- Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) and ModelBased Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Desired Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Experience with ModelBased Systems Engineering tools (e.g. MagicDraw Rational Rhapsody Cameo Genesys etc..

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors including but not limited to the combination of education certifications knowledge skills competencies and experience internal and external equity location clearance level as well as contractspecific affordability organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this positionis based on full time status. For part time or oncall staff compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important its just one component of Noblis total compensation package.
