The Opportunity
Moosehead Breweries is the last major brewery in Canada still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John New Brunswick the company has been led by the Oland family since 1867.
We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist to join our team and work in our Moosehead Cold Beer Store in Dartmouth Nova Scotia. We are seeking candidates with flexible availability to work weekend mornings or evenings (until midnight) and occasional weekday evening shifts; approximately 815 hrs/week.
Customer Service Specialists are responsible for educating our customers about beer and our products serving customers in our retail store and drive thru and selling Moosehead merchandise. Employees will receive extensive training on beer styles the brewing process and Mooseheads history upon hire. Customer Service Specialists ensure our customers have a positive experience while visiting our oneofakind Cold Beer Store DriveThru and retail store.
We are looking for a dynamic employee who can adapt to any situation and is highly responsive to our consumers needs.
What youll do
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences at the Moosehead Cold Beer Store
- Determine consumer needs and recommend the best product for them
- Demonstrate a constant and uptodate expertise of our products promotions and policies
- Educate consumers about beer and our products
- Responsible for the alcoholic beverage service management and strict adherence of our WE ID policy
- Exceptional cash and inventory accuracy and management
- Drive the sale of products to achieve personal and store sales targets
- Assist in executing events and activations including serving beer samples for store tasting
What youll need
Qualifications
- You have a passion for great beer beer culture and championing our products
- You possess excellent customer service and public speaking skills and youre always willing to learn
- You have an energetic and dynamic personality you are approachable and enjoy engaging with consumers
- You enjoy being a host and have an allhandson deck attitude
- You are attentive and compliant with safety regulations procedures
- Previous customer service experience is considered an asset
- Prior supervising experience is considered an asset
- Ability to maneuver items up to 100lbs is considered an asset
- Must be at least 19 years of age
