Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in the lives of young learners Do you have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to help them thrive in an inclusive and nurturing environment
We are excited to be working with specialist schools and alternative provisions in Newcastle that are looking for committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
THE ROLE:
Support students with SEND including those with Autism (ASC) ADHD SEMH (Social Emotional & Mental Health) and other learning needs.
Assist in delivering tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs.
Fulltime and parttime roles available with immediate and September 2025 starts.
Competitive weekly rate starting from 415.
Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Has experience working with children or young people with SEND (in school or care settings).
Possesses (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS placed on the update service.
Demonstrates patience adaptability and a nurturing approach.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
