We are seeking a fulltime pediatric psychologist to meet the behavioral health needs of youth within the Neurosciences Center at Seattle Childrens Hospital. The psychologist will prioritize behavioral health needs of youth referred through the Epilepsy programs which is the only comprehensive epilepsy program in the Pacific Northwest. In addition to providing behavioral health services the psychologist will also provide consultation and collaborate closely with other members of the Epilepsy and Neurosciences teams to deliver care in service of optimal outcomes.
In addition to collaborations with faculty in the Neurosciences Center there are also opportunities for collaborating with pediatric psychologists in our other medical programs around training and crossspecialty interventions. In addition the pediatric psychologist would participate in family and communityoriented education and collaborate in program development. We have a multitier training program and there may be opportunities to participate in our University of Washington APAaccredited psychology internship program.
Required Education/Experience:
PhD PsyD or Ed.D. in psychology with specialization in child clinical psychology from an APAaccredited training program.
Completion of an APAapproved internship.
Formal postdoctoral training in an appropriate area of specialization.
May work evening & weekends as required.
Required Credentials:
Licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Washington.
Prior to start of employment must obtain and maintain in good standing medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited revoked suspended conditioned or probationary except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.
Any and all medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Childrens will terminate automatically upon the termination of the individuals employment at Childrens.
Termination of employment does not prohibit the individual from seeking medical or allied health professional staff privileges at Childrens as a nonemployee in any category for which the individual qualifies.

Preferred:
Postdoctoral level experience in pediatric psychology.
Experience in a pediatric medical setting.
Compensation Range
$126291 $186898 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on fulltime employment 2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
