EMC Eden Medical CenterPosition Overview:
Plans and organizes the scrub and preparation aspects in the care of surgical patients. Collaborates with the RNs surgeons and all healthcare team members. Maintains AORN standards of professional nursing practice.Job Description:
EDUCATION
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
BLSBasic Life Support Healthcare Provider
CSTCertified Surgical Technologist
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Surgical Technician training
Minimum five years experience in Surgical Services preferred
Experience in basic computer skills preferred
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Aseptic technique
Surgical scrub procedures use of sterile technique instruments and setup procedures for the delivery/OR room
Knowledge of the anesthesia cart and equipment
OSHA Risk Category I(High Risk)
Assist with tilling supporting maneuvering and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds

Pay Range is $46.56 to $60.12 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
