Job Description:
Do you love the energy and teamwork of cheerleading Are you passionate about sharing your enthusiasm for choreography tumbling and cheer spirit with young students BAM! is looking for a Cheer Instructor to lead engaging highenergy afterschool cheer programs where students can build their confidence coordination and teamwork skills.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys mentoring youth thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to share the joy of cheerleading in a fun and supportive setting.
In this role you will:
- Lead Cheer Classes: Teach cheerleading fundamentals including basic stunts tumbling jumps chants and dance routines tailored to the age and skill level of your students (grades K8.
- Foster Teamwork: Encourage collaboration sportsmanship and confidence through positive reinforcement and teambuilding activities.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe structured and inclusive environment where every student feels supported and valued.
- Represent BAM!: Deliver a fun and professional experience by implementing BAM!s cheer program curriculum and maintaining our high standards for instruction and care.
Qualifications:
- 12 years of cheerleading experience as an instructor coach or team member (high school college or competitivelevel experience preferred).
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring (coaching/teaching experience is preferred).
- Excellent class management skills and the ability to work effectively with students in grades K8.
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license or State ID.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 2050 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodations.
Details:
- Wage: $32/hour
- Job Type: PartTime
- Availability: March 3rd One day a week for 1 Hour Tuesday 2:15 PM till 3:40 PM PST.
