Job Description

Summary
The HBF Forklift Operator is responsible for responsible for safely operating material handling equipment to move locate stack and count merchandise within a cold storage warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to transport totes from production lines to the warehouse.
- Load unload highstack and stage totes of frozen products.
- Accurately enter data and product locations using a hand scanner.
- Read daily order sheets and retrieve appropriate products from the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers at the dock.
- Perform preoperation maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Charge forklift batteries as needed.
- Balance multiple tasks work under pressure and exercise good judgment.
- Work independently or with minimal supervision.
