Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer/Management Trainee/ Assistant Manager US Domestic and Global Trades Wealth Operations
Responsibilities

The role will be primarily responsible for Trade support settlement and processing for US Domestic and Global Trades with sound understanding of trade lifecycle from custody to broker to client. This involves loading matching and settling trade activities following up with custodians brokers and clients to resolve unmatched trades and handling claims from counterparties.

Job Responsibilities & Preferred skills

Experience with US Domestic Trade Lifecycle is desirable.
Good understanding of financial products like Bonds Mutual Funds MBS SWAPS Equities Stock Lending and Derivatives etc. is required
Managing the endtoend clearing and settlement process for US Domestic Trades; ensuring smooth and timely market settlement of securities and cash transfers between the bank and its counterparty.
Supports interfaces with different internal and external stakeholders (front office clients brokers nostro agents exchanges and clearing houses) involved in the clearing and settlement process chain according to the market standards. The role is responsible for trade date to settlement date processes (prematching and confirmation trade processing cash transfer instruction routing depot and inventory management funding and settlement monitoring) and postsettlement date processes (fails management).
Assist with trade support activities like trade rebooking Recall and returns. Manual callin of return as per the agreed procedure
Communication with brokers custodians to settle trades in a timely manner. Investigation of trades if any discrepancies and should reach out to respective teams/brokers for necessary corrections.
Ability to apply problem solving and investigative techniques to trade booking / flow issues.
Understanding around business transitions and required documentation will have added advantage.
Good knowledge of MS Excel is required.
Candidate should have exposure around audits (internal and external) and strong understanding around Risk and Control framework.
Establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts such as custodians brokers and client trading desks and should be capable of handling Onshore Queries and Issues.
Experience of applications like Global Plus AddVantage & Trust Desk applications would have added advantage.

Relevant work experience in an Associate role is a must. Previous experience in a middle/back office in Financial services firm.
