How you will make an impact:
As a Staffing Assistant at Northfield Retirement Community you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our Residents have the care that they need daily by maintaining our schedule and ensuring coverage on the floor at all times. You will be responsible for monitoring vacant shifts observing overtime hours attendance of employees and assisting in the onboarding orientation and training of new employees. This position will assist in rotating the oncall phone. The right candidate for this role will be organized flexible and willing to step in to cover vacant shifts to ensure coverage.
Schedule: This is a fulltime position 36 hours per week 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Weekend and holiday rotations are required.
What you will need:
- Six months of experience in home care or a longterm senior living setting is required
- Prior staffing and scheduling experience in assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong communication skills outgoing and friendly personality and basic computer skills
- Must be able to push pull lift and carry up to 35lbs
- Must be able to pass MN Background Check
