We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of engineers in Beverly MA. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the design development and implementation of mechanical aspects for our RF and microwave connectors and components. You will play a crucial role in driving innovation ensuring product quality and reliability and meeting project deadlines.
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers providing technical guidance feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee the design and development of mechanical aspects of RF and microwave connectors including precision machined parts housings and other components from concept to production.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. MILSTD348 quality requirements and best practices for design testing and manufacturing.
- Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including manufacturing quality assurance and sales to achieve project objectives.
- Manage project timelines budgets and resources efficiently.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for team members.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering technology and materials relevant to RF and microwave applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Engineering Manager or a similar leadership role preferably in the RF/microwave or connector industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles with expertise in precision machining tolerances and material selection for highfrequency applications.
- Extensive experience with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC machining stamping and plating.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
