Key Responsibilities:
Take a lead in developing the operational strengths of the charity audit team supporting the firms expansion in this area.
Use strong audit expertise to provide technical guidance and serve as a departmental lead.
Oversee a portion of the Managing Directors client portfolio.
Deliver handson technical support and guidance for audit and accounting teams.
Develop and mentor team members contributing to the firms growth and client relationships.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Qualifications: Qualified accountant with 5 years of experience ACA preferred.
Technical Expertise: Strong audit and accounting background with a comprehensive understanding of technical standards and ISA315 audit requirements.
Preferred Software: Proficiency with IRIS My Working Papers and Xero.
Communication Skills: Ability to build client relationships and support business development.
Management Skills: Experience managing teams mentoring junior talent and ensuring quality in technical delivery.
Attention to Detail: High standards in accuracy and audit.
Sector Experience: Charity sector experience is beneficial.
