Job Description

Job Description Summary
AB Tech is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable skilled plumber to teach adults in our Plumbing Foundations Workforce Development classes which train adults for entrylevel careers in plumbing. Instructor also needed for plumbing maintenance and repair module of Apartment Maintenance Technician program. Additional classes may be added in the future.

Duties
All Trades instructors work with the Coordinator to design courses that will meet the needs of employers and the community. Then during engaging lectures and handson labs the instructor will provide the training necessary for the students to meet predefined learning objectives. During each course instructors submit all materials for review and approval in addition to maintaining an accurate student roster attendance sheet and other required records.

Minimum Requirements
1. Documented knowledge of the subject matter; 2. Hold a current NC Plumbing Contractor License; 3. Valid Drivers License.

Preferred Qualifications
1. One or more years teaching experience; 2. Previous experience teaching adults in a community college setting. 3. Certified to teach plumbering standard certificate courses by North Carolina code official qualifications board.
